Assington Farmers’ Market really is a genuine, local market with all the produce coming from within a 30 mile radius of the village and much of it coming from, literally, over the road. Whether it is baked, brewed, pickled, smoked or sewn, the person selling it, made it, so you, the customer, can ask anything you like about what you are buying. Now that is something you will never be able to experience at the supermarket.
Come along on Sunday July 8th from 10am until 2pm and enjoy a fantastic range of some of the regions very best traders selling fresh pork and beef, homemade cakes, fantastic sausages, fresh bread, gorgeous blueberries, beautiful spring plants & lots, lots more.
Assington Farmers’ Market is held on the second Sunday of every month from 10am until 2pm at The Barn, Assington, CO10 5LW.
Free entry & free parking. Plus gorgeous tearooms, a craft barn, farm animals, a farm shop and a picnic trail!
